Focus is a direct mail design for the TYPO San Francisco 2015 conference. In relation to this year's theme, focus, the concept of the project derived from the focusing quality of macro - micro design and typography. Therefore, the information is laid out along a consistent square grid, in stark contrasting type sizes. The overall project consists of a vellum envelope, program foldout, schedule pamphlet, and self-mailer registration form. When the foldout is pulled out of its translucent envelope, the interior type interacts with the exterior envelope to create an illusion of moving type.
